About the role
We are seeking experienced accounting and finance professionals to join our team. Ideal candidates should have a background in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years of experience, including at least one busy season as a senior auditor. CPA certification is preferred but not required. We seek individuals who can bring a combination of external audit and corporate accounting and/or finance experience to our team.
Responsibilities
- Tackle unique, challenging, and one-of-a-kind projects for major corporations
- Participate in IPO readiness, mergers and acquisitions, and carve-outs
- Contribute to the growth of the local office and the Firm overall
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, Firm leadership, and peers
- Provide value-added service to clients through strong communication and interpersonal skills
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance
- At least 2 years of experience, including at least one busy season as a senior auditor
- CPA certification preferred
- Experience in corporate accounting and/or finance at a large public corporation
- Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills
- Proficiency in U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Accounting Services Board (FASB) rules and standards
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (macros, pivot tables, etc.)
