New Store Opening - Manager - Service Experience - Settlers Market Rack

About the role

As a Service Experience Manager, you’ll wear many hats – you’ll be a mentor, your team’s biggest fan, and a driver of business. You’ll support and educate on Service Experience initiatives, recruit and develop your team, and create a business plan to meet service and sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Drive store volume through the support and education of Service Experience initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program and the sale of gift cards.
• Recruit, hire, train, develop, and motivate your team—ensuring their success is your success.
• Support your team as they educate and assist employees on tools, processes, and systems to enhance the customer shopping experience and increase sales.
• Create a solid business plan that enables your team to work together to meet service and sales goals.
• Drive continuous improvements to support the success of your department.

Requirements

• 1+ years of successful retail management experience.
• Ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with store managers, area/regional managers, and other leaders.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for inspiring others to deliver outstanding service.
• Dynamic leadership skills and a proven ability to motivate and develop future leaders.
• Track record of using key metrics to identify opportunities and drive business.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings and weekends.

For Nordstrom Stores Roles: Prior experience in a Rack Store is preferred.

For Nordstrom Rack Roles: Prior experience in a Nordstrom Store is preferred.

Pay

Pay range: $43,500.00 - $70,000.00 Annual. Pay offers are dependent on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses.
