New Jersey – Mid-Level Employment Litigation Associate

About the role

Fisher Phillips’ New Jersey office is seeking a Mid-Level Employment Litigation Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience litigating wage and hour class and/or collective actions, including drafting and ideally arguing motions such as motions to decertify a conditional class, and preparing witnesses for depositions.

Responsibilities

• Draft and argue motions, including motions to decertify conditional classes
• Prepare witnesses for taking and/or defending depositions
• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced litigation environment
• Work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Demonstrate a commitment to personal growth and high-quality client service

Requirements

• 3-5 years of litigation experience
• Experience with wage and hour class and collective action work
• Excellent writing and analytical skills
• Strong academic credentials
• Admission to the New Jersey and New York Bars

Pay

The yearly salary range for this position is $170,000 - $195,000. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
