New Graduate Nurse Residency Program

About the role

This role is for newly licensed registered nurses (less than six months of experience) participating in a 12‑month Nurse Residency Program designed to support their transition to professional practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence‑based practice and critical thinking.
• Provide patient and family‑centered care tailored to individual needs and cultural diversity.
• Collaborate effectively with patients and team members.
• Receive support from Unit Leaders, Educators, Preceptors, and Program Coordinators through system orientation, onboarding, specialty sessions, and monthly Nurse Residency Program activities.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
• Current RN license (single‑state or multi‑state compact).
• BLS certification.
• All certifications required upon hire.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional growth, compassionate care, and excellence in nursing practice.
