New Graduate Nurse Residency Program

This role is designed for new graduate Registered Nurses (RN) with less than six months of experience, aiming to successfully complete a 12-month Nurse Residency Program (NRP) . Responsibilities include providing patient-centered nursing care by utilizing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—based on evidence-based practice. The RN will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams , engage in specialty/service line programs, and participate in orientation phases such as system, core, specialty onboarding, and monthly NRP sessions. The role requires licensure, current certifications (BLS), and adherence to professional standards outlined by state and national nursing bodies. Supported by Unit-Based Leaders, Educators, and Preceptors, the RN is responsible for delivering safe, culturally competent care aligned with organizational policies and standards. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program with a preferred BSN .
