New Graduate Nurse Residency Program

Role: RN Resident participating in a 12-month Nurse Residency Program designed for new graduate RNs with less than 6 months of experience. Responsibilities Include Providing patient-centered nursing care following standards of practice and ethical guidelines.Performing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practice and critical thinking.Partnering with patients and families to deliver culturally competent care and facilitate effective communication.Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and supporting service excellence.Completing structured orientation phases, including system, core, specialty onboarding, and monthly NRP sessions. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), with multistate licensure preferred.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.Less than six months of professional nursing experience. Skills & Support Strong critical thinking, clinical skills, and the ability to adapt care to diverse patient needs.Support from educators, preceptors, and leadership to ensure successful transition into professional practice. Key duties: Deliver comprehensive nursing care, uphold standards and ethical practices, and participate actively in the residency program to develop clinical expertise and confidence.
