Neurosurgery Registered Nurse - Night Shift

About the role

Provides direct patient care in a neuro-intensive unit caring for patients post-cranial and spinal surgeries, stroke, or neurological conditions. Uses advanced technology, collaborates with a dedicated team, and supports patient recovery and education.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient- and family-centered care, including education on illness management, medication, and post-discharge needs.
• Participates in patient safety, quality improvement, and professional development activities.
• Develops and implements individualized care plans, ensuring effective communication across care teams.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values, cultural, and spiritual preferences.
• Adheres to safety protocols, maintaining alertness and safe practice at all times.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Licenses & Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN).
• Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.

Pay

Sign-on bonus available.

Schedule

Night shifts with weekend requirements.
