About the role
This role is for a Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner (NP) providing inpatient neurosurgery coverage on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
- Assessing and managing neurosurgery patients
- Supporting surgical procedures
- Providing comprehensive patient care
- Occasional weekend on-call shifts may be required
- Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver quality patient care
- Manage inpatient neurosurgical cases
- Support surgical procedures and patient assessments
- Adhere to credentialing and licensure requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- Active licensure and board certification
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Experience in neurosurgery, with first assist preferred
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- Active DEA registration
- First assist experience is a plus but not mandatory
