Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Job Summary This role is for a Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner providing inpatient coverage in a hospital setting. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive neurosurgery patient care, including first assist duties when needed Cover four shifts weekly, primarily from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend call from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes Qualifications & Skills Active medical license and Board Certification ACLS and BLS certifications Experience in neurosurgery, with first assist experience preferred Valid DEA registration and eligibility for licensure in the required state Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently Additional Requirements Credentialing timeframe of 30-60 days Availability for occasional weekend call Ability to work in an inpatient environment and handle neurosurgical cases
