NeuroPsych Regional Patient Access Manager, Blue Ridge

For our client, we are seeking a NeuroPsych Regional Patient Access Manager to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will lead regional patient access efforts for a specialized neuropsychiatric therapy portfolio, helping ensure appropriate coverage and support for patients across the Blue Ridge region. The position will partner closely with healthcare providers, internal cross-functional teams, payers, and specialty pharmacy stakeholders to resolve access barriers and improve the overall patient experience. You will also support training, education, and operational problem-solving related to prior authorizations, financial assistance, and pharmacy network performance. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $151,000 – $206,000 annually Responsibilities Provide education and support to healthcare providers on coverage issues for the company's products Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate patient access with specific payers Conduct training for healthcare providers on payer coverage policies and financial assistance programs Utilize technology for electronic prior authorization submissions and problem resolution Communicate effectively with various stakeholders to resolve patient access issues Monitor pharmacy operations to ensure network integrity and effectiveness Present findings on payer policies during internal meetings and workshops Qualifications BS/BA degree in a related field and 6+ years of pharma/biotech experience, including 2+ years in specialty pharmacy or market access Master's degree or MBA preferred, with 4+ years of related experience PharmD or PhD, with 2+ years of related experience Strong understanding of specialty pharmacies and managed care systems Excellent knowledge of patient support programs and prescription adjudication processes Benefits Retirement savings plan with company match Paid vacation, holiday, and personal days Paid caregiver, parental, and medical leave Health benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage Equity-based long-term incentive program Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
