Neurology Physician Associate - Locum Tenens

Role Overview: The clinician will serve as a Physician Assistant providing inpatient neurology coverage in a structured healthcare environment. Responsibilities: Conduct daily patient rounds, perform neurological and physical examinations, evaluate complex medical histories, order and interpret diagnostic tests, formulate differential diagnoses, and develop medication plans. Additional duties include ICU rounding, managing referrals and discharges, responding to stroke alerts within 15 minutes, and educating patients and families. The clinician will work independently alongside neurologists, serving as the sole advanced practice clinician on-site. Qualifications & Skills: Active state license or IMLC, board certification, prescriptive authority, ACLS, BLS, and experience in general and stroke neurology are required. The role involves day shifts, Monday through Friday, with no night or weekend call. Key Details: The position is on-site, with workload details to be determined. The clinician will be responsible for inpatient care, including emergent consults and patient education.
