Occupational Medicine Physician Associate - Locum Tenens

About the role

This role involves providing occupational medicine services in an outpatient clinic setting, primarily focusing on workplace health assessments and injury management.

Responsibilities

• Conducting pre-employment physicals, return-to-work clearances, injury assessments, medical surveillance, exposure treatments, health screenings, substance testing, and fit-for-duty evaluations.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic x-rays and lab results.
• Collaborating with physicians, APNs, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Board certification and current NJ medical license.
• Prescriptive authority, including CDS and DEA licenses.
• Experience with workers' compensation cases.
• DOT certification preferred.

Work Environment

• Day shifts, Monday through Friday, at an on-site clinic in New Jersey.
• Providing services to adult patients.
