*Medical Assistant - Family Medicine

Department: Family Medicine • Facility: Prime Healthcare Family and Internal Medicine Clinic • Location: Homewood, IL

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental, and organization tasks.
• Handle appointment scheduling and chart management.
• Provide information to patients to help them fully utilize and benefit from clinic services.
• Convey a positive image of the organization.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (or relevant experience required for new hires effective April 2014).
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum one year of work experience in a public contact job.
• Work experience in health care preferred.

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $19.00 to $26.53 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
