Neurocritical Care Physician Associate - Locum Tenens

About the Role

This position is for a Physician Assistant (PA) providing inpatient neurocritical care in a specialized Neuroscience ICU. The PA will deliver acute care for adult patients, managing a caseload of approximately 4 patients per day on a 20-bed unit.

Responsibilities

• Responding to codes
• Performing procedures such as arterial and central lines, lumbar punctures, and ventilator management
• Completing clinical documentation using the EPIC EMR system
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality neurocritical care

Requirements

• ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Acute care certification
• At least one year of relevant experience
• Board certification
• Prescriptive authority

Schedule

The position involves day and night shifts with no call outside scheduled hours.
