Neurology - Epileptologist
About the role
The successful candidate will join eight fellowship-trained adult and pediatric epileptologists at a vibrant National Association of Epilepsy Centers designated level IV academic epilepsy program.
There are strong collaborations with child neurology, neurosurgery, neuroradiology, and neuropsychology. Our Neurology Department is a highly collegial and dedicated group with a strong tradition of clinical education.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for patients with epilepsy and related disorders
- Participate in the full spectrum of epilepsy services including diagnosis, treatment, and management
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
- Contribute to research and clinical trials
Requirements
- Board Certification in Neurology and Board Certification in Adult or Pediatric Neurology
- Fellowship training in Adult or Pediatric Neurology preferred
- Experience in epilepsy management and surgical evaluation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Current California Medical License
- Passing scores on the USMLE or COMLEX exams

Pay
The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $240,000- $290,000. This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department compensation plans.
