Epilepsy Physician - Neurology

Primary Clinical Responsibilities

Inpatient video-EEG monitoring
Attending on the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit service
Outpatient routine and ambulatory EEG
Managing patients with epilepsy in the clinic

Treatment and Services Offered

• Stereotactic placement of depth electrodes (stereo-EEG)
• Disconnective and resective epilepsy surgeries
• Responsive nerve stimulator (RNS) placement
• Vagus nerve stimulator placement
• Unique neuropsychiatry program
• Deep brain stimulator (DBS) placement
• In development: intraoperative monitoring program

Additional Opportunities

• Work with a multidisciplinary epilepsy team
• Education of neurology residents and medical students
• Participation in a Junior Faculty Development Program
