Neurology Epilepsy Physician

About the role

Full-time Adult Epileptologist responsible for managing patients with refractory epilepsy at a major medical center.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical and surgical epilepsy workups, including phase I EMU evaluations
• Manage chronic epilepsy medical treatments and perform EEG, continuous video EEG, and rapid EEG readings
• Manage neuromodulator devices and support a multidisciplinary team with neuro-trained professionals
• Contribute to patient emergency coverage supported by neurohospitalists, with no clinic call required
• Engage in resident and medical student teaching, with potential faculty appointments

Requirements

• Fellowship training in epilepsy is required; new graduates are welcome
• Board-eligible or certified in adult epilepsy
• Experience with advanced neuroimaging, EEG, and interventional technologies preferred
