About the role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Epilepsy Neurologist to join Seton Brain and Spine Institute as an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

Inpatient responsibilities include EMU coverage at Dell Seton Medical Center UT & assisting in interpretation of diagnostic routine, ambulatory, ICU and continuous video-EEG monitoring for Ascension Texas network. Outpatient responsibilities include clinic evaluation and management of epilepsy patients; Programming of VNS, RNS and DBS devices is required. Faculty Affiliation with Dell Medical School and Dell Medical School Neurology Residency and Clinical Neurophysiology Affiliation are also part of the role.

Dell Seton Medical Center is a 399 bed facility, Level 4 Trauma comprehensive stroke center, serving a population of approximately 1,002,000 residents, with an integrated referral network, and part of Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health system.

Requirements

• Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
