Epileptologist
Overview
The Comprehensive Epilepsy Center at Henry Ford Hospital (HFH), located in Detroit, Michigan, is seeking board eligible/certified neurologists with additional fellowship training in epilepsy to join our multi-disciplinary team.
With nine fellowship-trained neurologists, including two pediatric neurologists, a clinical neuropsychologist, and two neurosurgeons, Henry Ford’s Comprehensive Epilepsy Center has over 30 years of experience in the medical and surgical management of epilepsy. Henry Ford’s epilepsy team is one of the largest and most active medically and surgically in the Midwest.
Requirements
- Must have completed an ACGME/AOA approved Neurology residency.
- Must be board eligible/certified in Neurology.
- Must have completed or currently completing an ACGME/AOA approved Epilepsy fellowship.
Responsibilities
As an academic program, the HFH Epilepsy Center is active in epilepsy clinical research, and advanced neuroimaging and MEG research. Additionally, our center participates in clinical trials for neurostimulation implant and stereotactic laser ablation therapies. A proven track record or serious interest in clinical research is favorably considered. Additionally, Academic appointment opportunities are available through our Henry Ford Health + Michigan State University Health Sciences partnership.
Qualifications
