About the role

UniClinic / Painless Clinic is an established pain management practice that has served the greater Seattle area for about 30 years. We are seeking a physician interested in joining the practice with the opportunity to develop into a partnership and potentially assume ownership as the founding physician transitions toward retirement. The practice has locations in Renton and Federal Way, Washington, and offers a distinctive approach to chronic pain management. Since 2020, the clinic has focused primarily on non-opioid and non-prescription pain treatment, incorporating acupuncture, acupressure, Fractal Balancing, and other hands-on and integrative treatment approaches. The founding physician is a neurologist and pain management specialist with training in acupuncture. He would like to work alongside the incoming physician during a gradual transition period, providing an opportunity to become familiar with the clinic's patients, staff, treatment philosophy, and day-to-day operations.

Ideal Candidate

• Physicians with backgrounds in Pain Medicine, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Neurology, Anesthesiology/Pain Management, or related specialties are encouraged to apply.
• Experience or a strong interest in acupuncture, integrative medicine, and non-opioid pain management is preferred.
• The founding physician is willing to provide orientation and mentorship in the clinic's treatment approach during the transition period.
• Washington State medical licensure or eligibility for Washington licensure is required.

Partnership & Succession Opportunity

The position may initially be structured as an associate physician arrangement, with the opportunity to progress toward:

• Associate Physician → Partnership → Practice Ownership / Succession

The transition would be gradual rather than an immediate practice sale. The exact structure, compensation, timeline, and potential ownership arrangement would be discussed confidentially with the appropriate candidate.
