About the role
The SIH's Brain and Spine Institute seeks a dedicated Interventional Pain Physician to join a busy practice in a collegial environment. The role includes both procedural and clinic days, promoting a balanced work-life schedule.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive pain management services
- Collaborate with a team of 2 Nurse Practitioners
- Work in a supportive and passionate clinical setting
Requirements
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Residency program in anesthesiology, psychiatry, neurology, or physical medicine and rehabilitation
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Fellowship in Pain Medicine of at least twelve months duration
- In lieu of formal Pain Management training, at least two years of practice in pain management
- Certification in Pain Medicine by the applicable ABMS board
- Documentation of at least 50 pain medicine cases representative of the scope and complexity of the privileges requested in the previous year (waived for those who completed training in the previous year)
Qualifications
- Current certification in Pain Medicine by the applicable ABMS board
- Experience in providing pain medicine services
