About the role
Outpatient Neuroimmunology healthcare provider assisting in diagnosis and treatment of Multiple Sclerosis and related disorders, under physician supervision.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Prescribe medications
- Provide patient education on health promotion and illness prevention
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate medical documentation
- Act as a clinical consultant on neuroimmunological cases
- Ensure patient confidentiality
- Promote advocacy
- Coordinate ongoing care, including triaging calls and referrals
Requirements
- Licensed and certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with national certification
- CPR certification
- At least three years of outpatient experience
- Strong communication, organizational, and confidentiality skills
Preferred Skills
- Five or more years of outpatient experience
- Neurology background
- MS-specific care experience
- ACLS certification
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Familiarity with electronic health records and value-based healthcare models
Pay
Starting at $105,000 or more depending on qualifications.
