About the role
Provide outpatient care to patients with neuroimmunological disorders, primarily Multiple Sclerosis, under physician supervision.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient health
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Prescribe medications
- Educate patients and families
- Document medical records accurately
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure continuity of care, referrals, and case management
- Participate in peer reviews and clinical guideline development
- Maintain patient confidentiality
Requirements
- Licensed and certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- At least three years of outpatient experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with electronic medical records
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional years of practice
- Neurology experience
- Bilingual ability
- Familiarity with research and value-based healthcare models
Pay
Salary starts at $105,000+ depending on experience.
