Advanced Practice Provider - Neuroimmunology

About the role

Provide outpatient care for patients with Multiple Sclerosis and other neuroimmunological disorders under physician supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health through history, physical exams, and risk factor analysis.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, consulting with clinicians as needed to determine diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, prescribe medications, and educate patients and families.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, handle minor procedures, and promote health and illness prevention.
• Maintain accurate documentation, participate in peer reviews, and support quality assurance activities.
• Act as a clinical consultant, ensure confidentiality, and facilitate communication among healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• Licensed and certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in good standing.
• Graduate from an accredited program with National Board Certification.
• Current CPR certification; ≥3 years outpatient experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and confidentiality skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• ≥5 years outpatient experience, neurology background, and MS care experience.
• ACLS certification, bilingual in English and Spanish, and familiarity with electronic medical records.
• Experience in research, value-based healthcare, and multidisciplinary team delivery.

Salary starts at $105,000+, with physical and environmental working conditions including use of PPE, potential biohazards, and manual tasks.
