Neuro Step Down Nurse (Full Time) (Evening/Night)

Role Overview

Seeking a nurse leader for the Neuro Step Down Department, responsible for overseeing staff, participating in on-call rotations, and ensuring clinical and service excellence. The role involves managing team operations, staffing, payroll, and regulatory compliance, as well as supporting departmental budgeting and performance improvement initiatives.

Key Duties

• Supervise staff including onboarding, performance evaluations, and professional development
• Ensure staff meet competency and regulatory standards through audits and corrective actions
• Handle staffing, scheduling, and payroll reconciliation
• Participate in service recovery, operational issue resolution, and report analysis
• Support budgeting, trend identification, and action planning for quality outcomes
• Lead staff communication and team meetings to ensure cohesive operations

Qualifications & Skills

• RN licensure with a nursing diploma or associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred)
• 2-5 years of nursing experience, with less than 2 years supervisory experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage staffing, compliance, and operational workflows effectively
