Neuro Hospitalist

About the role

Join a collaborative neurosciences team as a Neurohospitalist providing inpatient stroke and consult coverage across two hospitals. Practice within a structured model, supporting a 100% hospitalist role, with shared call and rounding support from nurses. Participate in a comprehensive neurosciences program including neurology, neurosurgery, neurocritical care, stroke care, and rehabilitation. Engage in research and teaching opportunities within a Level II Trauma Center using Epic EMR. Contribute to a growing team with plans to expand Neurohospitalist coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient stroke and neurologic consults
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Support patient care in a hospital setting
• Maintain a predictable work schedule, ensuring work-life balance
• Participate in hospital initiatives, research, and educational activities

Requirements

• Board Eligible/Board Certified in neurology or related specialty
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work within a certified stroke care environment
• H-1B visa candidates considered
