About the role
We are seeking a BE/BC Neurohospitalist to join a collaborative neuroscience team in a hospital setting. This 100% inpatient role involves coverage for stroke and neurology consultations across two hospitals within a comprehensive neurosciences program, including neurology, neurosurgery, neurocritical care, stroke, and rehab services.
Responsibilities
- Providing inpatient stroke and consultation coverage
- Joining a growing team with a goal to expand Neurohospitalist services
- Practicing within a Level II Trauma Center with advanced facilities and EMR system
- Supporting a predictable schedule, typically 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with 7-on/7-off shifts
- Participating in research and teaching opportunities
Requirements
- Board eligibility or certification in neurology
- Ability to work independently
- Experience with stroke care preferred
- H-1B visa candidates are considered
