Neuro Hospitalist

Job Summary

You will join CHI Saint Joseph Medical Group, part of CommonSpirit Health, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. You will provide inpatient Neurology care within a supportive, patient-centered environment backed by a collaborative medical community, advanced technology, and an established regional referral network serving Central Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Manage inpatient Neurology consultations and rounding as part of a full-time, employed Neuro Hospitalist team working a seven-on, seven-off schedule.
• Collaborate with three employed Neuro Hospitalists, Neurology APPs, outpatient Neurology providers, Interventional Neurology specialists, and nursing support while using Epic across hospital and practice locations.
• Help shape and grow the Neuro Hospitalist program.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology.
• Active Medical License in the State of Kentucky, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• DEA certificate.
• Completion of ACGME Neurology Residency.
