Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Department Director, performs a variety of advanced technical services in the installation, operation, diagnosis, repair and maintenance of computers, network systems and related communication devices; provides advanced technical user support assistance; sets up and operates audio-visual equipment; delivers technology quotes and approves requisitions.

Requirements

  • Degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology and four years’ experience working in network environments, operations, computer installation, audio video, telephony, troubleshooting and repair work.
  • Possession of CompTIA A+ certificate or higher-level certificate required.
  • A combination of education, training, and experience that could provide the desired skills, knowledge and abilities may be considered.
  • Valid Driver's License. Required to provide own transportation and must have proof of insurance.

Additional documents required of the selected applicant prior to employment:

  • DOJ Fingerprint clearance
  • TB Skin Test clearance
  • Lift & Drug Screen clearance

Benefits

A Benefit Entitlement for health, dental and vision coverage is available for positions that are at least 4 hours per day. The amount of the entitlement is based on the number of hours worked per day.

Pay

Pay Range: $36.73 - $44.94 per hour. Initial salary placement is restricted to a maximum of Step 3 ($40.87/hr) for external applicants.

Schedule

247 days/year, 5 days/week, 8 hours/day (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.). Full-time position.
