Network Deployment Technician, GND-NASA-Deploy

Key job responsibilities

• Installation of routers, switches and DWDM hardware.
• Aid in troubleshooting fiber optic and copper cabling.
• Create colocation remote hand requests for new capacity installations.
• Support project leads to deliver network capacity projects.
• Help resolve data center and facility issues.
• Support small to mid-size network deployment projects.
• Build relationships with internal and partner teams.
• Participate in site audits to ensure safety and quality meet AWS standards.
• Provide status updates to stakeholders via internal tools.

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
• 1+ years of computer networking experience
• High school or equivalent diploma

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure
