Network Administrator (3rd Shift)

About the role

Core4ce is looking for a Network Administrator to configure, install, and support network hardware and software infrastructure. The candidate will ensure that all network equipment complies with industry and corporate standards, conduct routine preventative measures, implement and maintain network security, and ensure security compliance. This role includes planning and implementing future IT development projects and undertaking project work, including project management duties.

Responsibilities

• Planning and scheduling the installation of new or modified network hardware and systems
• Managing accounts and network rights
• Configuring network hardware and software infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, and virtual devices in VMware
• Analyzing and resolving faults, ranging from major system crashes to forgotten passwords
• Ensuring systems availability, functionality, integrity, and efficiency; maintaining systems configuration
• Managing the installation and integration of system fixes, updates, and enhancements
• Ensuring the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance or eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience as a Network Administrator
• High School Diploma or GED
• 8570 IAT Level II Certification and CND Infrastructure Support within 6 months
• Solid understanding of firewalls, routers, switches, and other network technologies including Palo Alto and Cisco Firewalls
• Experience with LAN/WAN, VPN, IPS and associated technologies
• Experience with TCPDump, Wireshark, and analyzing network traffic
• Understanding of essential network services such as DNS, SMTP, NTP, IMAP, and SNMP

Schedule

• 1st shift: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
• 2nd shift: 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm
• 3rd shift: 10:00 pm to 6:30 am (the following day)

Pay

Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
