Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - PRN - Pediatric Critical Care Neonatology

About the role

We are seeking a PRN Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality neonatal care in a Level IV NICU.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, diagnosing, and managing critically ill neonates and preterm infants
• Collaborating with neonatologists, pediatricians, and nursing staff for multidisciplinary care
• Assisting in procedures such as intubation and line insertions
• Conducting rounds, documenting patient progress, and developing care plans
• Providing education and support to families on infant care and development
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and adhering to clinical protocols
• Offering on-call coverage as needed, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Nursing with Neonatal specialization
• Current Neonatal Nurse Practitioner license and board certification
• At least two years of neonatal ICU experience preferred
• Strong clinical, procedural, and communication skills
• Proficiency in EMR systems
• Additional certifications like NRP and BLS are preferred
