Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - Pediatric Critical Care - PRN

We are seeking a PRN Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality neonatal care in a Level IV NICU. Key Responsibilities Include Assessing, diagnosing, and managing critically ill neonates and preterm infantsCollaborating with neonatologists, pediatricians, and nursing staff for multidisciplinary careAssisting with neonatal procedures such as intubation and line insertionsConducting rounds, documenting care plans accurately in EMRProviding family education on infant care and health issuesParticipating in quality improvement initiatives and adhering to clinical protocolsOffering on-call coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Qualifications Master's Degree in Nursing with a focus on Neonatal NursingCurrent Neonatal Nurse Practitioner licensure or eligibility in the relevant stateBoard Certification as an NNPAt least two years of NICU experience preferredStrong clinical, procedural, and communication skillsProficiency with EMR systems Preferred qualifications include: neonatal resuscitation and BLS certifications, with experience in Level III or IV NICUs being advantageous. This is a flexible, PRN position offering shifts of varying lengths, including nights and weekends. The role involves managing 8-12 patients per shift, working within a highly skilled neonatal team in a technologically advanced environment.
