About the role
Provide high-quality, compassionate care in a Level IV NICU as a PRN Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage critically ill neonates
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Assist with procedures
- Conduct rounds
- Document patient progress
- Support families through education
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Current NNP board certification
- Licensure eligibility in Georgia
Qualifications (Preferred)
- 2+ years neonatal ICU experience
- NRP and BLS certifications
- Familiarity with NICU protocols
Skills
- Strong clinical and procedural abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in EMR systems
Schedule
- Flexible, as-needed role
- 12- or 24-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Manage 8-12 patients per shift alongside a skilled neonatal team
