Compensation varies based on years of experience, county of employment, and educational qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee classroom activities, adhering to standards set by the NC Division of Child Development and Early Education and aligning with the objectives of the current NC Pre-K Curriculum
• Create a nurturing and positive environment for children and their families, fostering strong bonds and supporting comprehensive development
• Design and execute learning experiences encompassing physical health, social-emotional growth, cognitive skills, and creative expression
• Conduct regular assessments to monitor children's progress toward School Readiness Goals, tailoring the curriculum to meet individual needs, including those with disabilities
• Uphold health and safety protocols, ensuring a secure and clean environment by adhering to strict procedures for hygiene, food handling, illness management, and child supervision
