Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year's experience in preschool teaching
- Bachelor's Degree
- Actively pursuing either NC Birth through Kindergarten (B-K) or Preschool Add-on Standard Professional II licensure
- One of the following qualifications:
- NC Initial Provisional Lateral Entry B-K License
- North Carolina K-6 license with a provisional Preschool Add-on license
- License from another state accompanied by an NC Provisional B-K license
- Degree in a related field that qualifies you for an NC Initial Provisional Lateral Entry B-K License
- Genuine empathy and understanding of children's needs and development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet community needs and respond to changing circumstances
- Capable of meeting the physical demands of working with children
