Pay

Current pay rates for this position vary based on years of experience, the county in which you are employed, and your educational qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee classroom activities, adhering to standards set by the NC Division of Child Development and Early Education
• Align with the objectives of the current NC Pre-K Curriculum
• Create a nurturing and positive environment for children and their families
• Foster strong bonds and support comprehensive development
• Design and execute learning experiences encompassing physical health, social-emotional growth, cognitive skills, and creative expression
• Conduct regular assessments to monitor children's progress towards School Readiness Goals
• Tailor the curriculum to meet the individual needs of each child, including those with disabilities
• Uphold health and safety protocols, ensuring a secure and clean environment
• Adhere to strict procedures for hygiene, food handling, illness management, and child supervision
