About the Role

This role focuses on evolving physician relations from transactional outreach to relationship-driven, data-informed engagement. You will work to foster meaningful connections with both employed and independent physicians, reinforcing culture, broadening organizational reach, and enhancing outcomes in a competitive healthcare landscape.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement initiatives to engage employed physicians, such as recognition events, thoughtful onboarding, and regular leadership touchpoints, while avoiding burnout.
• Partner with independent or community-based physicians by respecting autonomy and offering value-added opportunities like educational programming and peer-to-peer engagement.
• Break through insular networks by leveraging human connection—peer introductions, in-person visits, and tailored outreach events—to sustain engagement amid organizational change.
• Utilize data strategically to analyze referral and utilization patterns, customizing educational content for providers and employers.
• Engage Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) as essential allies through dedicated programming and recognition to amplify organizational reach.
• Address physician well-being by acknowledging burnout, emotional health, and the human side of work to build trust and loyalty.
• Transform physician relations into a measurable strategic advantage by integrating empathy, technology, and data into engagement programs.
• Leverage advanced analytics, real-time referral tracking, and ROI attribution models to measure impact and optimize engagement strategies.
• Innovate one-to-many outreach communications that maintain personalization at scale, blending marketing, technology, and relationship-building.
• Integrate physician outreach with marketing efforts to create synergy between digital campaigns and relationship-focused initiatives, driving sustainable volume growth.

Requirements

• Proven experience in physician relations, healthcare strategy, or provider engagement within a healthcare organization.
• Ability to design and implement data-driven engagement strategies, including the use of analytics and referral intelligence tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and foster authentic partnerships with physicians across employment models.
• Experience in developing and executing outreach programs that balance personalization with scalability.
• Knowledge of healthcare marketing integration and its role in driving physician volume growth.
• Commitment to addressing physician well-being and avoiding burnout in engagement initiatives.
