Serves as a dedicated link between Corewell Health and community physicians, APPs, and their practices. The primary purpose of this role is to empower physicians, APPs, and their staff to deliver exceptional patient care through relationship management, issue resolution, education, support, and technology connectivity solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular in-person visits with physicians, APPs, practice leaders, and office staff to build relationships, understand practice needs, and serve as a trusted resource and primary point of contact.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, APPs, practice staff, physician leaders, executive leaders, and operational leaders across the health system.
- Advocate for physicians, APPs, and practice teams by identifying concerns, resolving issues, removing barriers, and connecting them with appropriate resources, services, and support.
- Educate physicians, APPs, and office staff on Corewell Health services, clinical programs, referral processes, technology solutions, and organizational initiatives. Promote awareness and utilization of services while supporting referral and service line growth.
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned physician and APP practices by building trust, anticipating needs, identifying opportunities, and supporting engagement, growth, and retention.
- Support onboarding of new physicians and APPs by facilitating introductions, providing education, and connecting them with key resources and support teams.
- Provide frontline support for physician-facing technology solutions, including EpicCare Link, and collaborate with Digital Services and other departments to improve connectivity and resolve issues.
- Lead and support physician and APP-facing projects, growth initiatives, and change management efforts. Partner with clinical, operational, and executive leaders to plan, communicate, implement, and support organizational priorities.
- Plan and coordinate physician outreach activities, educational programs, networking events, continuing medical education opportunities, and other engagement efforts that strengthen relationships and collaboration.
- Collaborate with Strategic Planning, service line leadership, Marketing, Communications, Digital Services, and operational teams to support physician engagement, growth opportunities, and organizational priorities.
- Gather and analyze physician, APP, practice, market, and referral insights. Identify trends, opportunities, and barriers, and work with leaders to develop and implement solutions that improve access, service, quality, and efficiency.
- Execute physician-facing communications and maintain accurate records of practice interactions, feedback, concerns, opportunities, and follow-up activities to support relationship management and continuous improvement.
- Serve as the voice of physicians, APPs, and community practices by sharing feedback, opportunities, and recommendations that support organizational decision-making, strategic planning, and the physician experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or health-related field.
- Previous professional contact with physicians, legal counsel, executives, as well as acute knowledge of the local and regional medical community.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to interact with physicians, administrators, vendors, and legal counsel on a daily basis.
- Driver's License from the State of Michigan upon hire.

Schedule
- Full time.
- Day shift: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Weekly scheduled hours: 40.
- Days worked: Monday to Friday.
