D.R. Horton, Inc., the largest homebuilder in the U.S., was founded in 1978 and is a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange. It is engaged in the construction and sale of high-quality homes designed principally for the entry-level and first time move-up markets. The Company also provides mortgage financing and title services for homebuyers through its mortgage and title subsidiaries.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for quarterly invoicing and trend analysis
- Assist in the management of tracking information from the divisions in order to collect incentives and discounts by analyzing data, reporting research results, and disseminating information
- Assist with account receivables data entry for national, regional, and/or local accounts
- Assist with Corporate Purchasing Department organization and maintain project prioritization
- Responsible for adjustments/corrections and posting of information within database
- Assist with scheduling and organizing complex activities such as meetings, training, travel, and department activities for all members of the Corporate Purchasing Management Team
- Assist with creating National/Regional/Local deposits and tracking checks through the receivables process
- Ensure accurate allocation of incentive dollars to divisions
- Maintain and organize daily incentive collections correspondence
- Answer phone and take messages or field/answer all routine and non-routine questions
- Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
- Ability to work overtime
- Ability to travel overnight
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- Three to five years of related experience and/or training
- Advanced Excel skills and ability required to create charts and pivot tables utilizing VLOOKUP, conditional formatting, data tables and multi-functional formulas
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
- Proficiency with MS Office and email
- Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision
- The noise level is generally moderate
