Overview
The Biotechnology Regulatory Fellowship is a six-month, immersive program designed for early-career professionals interested in the regulation of biotechnology products. Fellows will:
- Explore evolving areas of biotechnology regulation and risk assessment
- Conduct horizon-scanning to identify potential future regulatory challenges
- Work in multidisciplinary teams to develop capstone projects with real-world impact
- Gain mentorship from professionals at the USDA, EPA, and FDA
- Present their work to the Biotechnology Regulatory Fellowship Advisory Committee and other stakeholders
Award Details
- Stipend: $70,000 (paid in monthly installments)
- Duraton: 6 months, full-time (37.5 hours/week)
- Location: In-person in Washington, D.C.
- Fellows are not eligible for National Academies employee benefits.
