Mutual Funds Specialist (Transfer Agent)
Location: Milwaukee, WI 53202
Work Arrangement: Fully Onsite during training; converts to Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote) post‑training. Duration: Contract through December 2026 (potential extension into 2027; FTE conversion expected). Overtime: Optional / Available.
About the role
Global Fund Services (GFS) offers fund administration, compliance, legal administration, fund accounting, fulfillment, distribution and marketing, custody, securities lending, transfer agent and shareholder services, and alternative investment product services. We provide the products and services necessary for fund sponsors to focus on investing while we protect their business interests and minimize risks.
Responsibilities
- Accept and process telephone transaction and maintenance requests from institutional level shareholders.
- Field shareholder inquiries regarding account setup, prior transactions, fund objectives, and performance.
- Provide prompt notification of trade activity to internal and external clients as required.
- Serve as point of contact for internal and external clients.
- Field inquiries and transaction requests from retail level shareholders as required.
- Participate in a culture of continuous improvement, risk‑based thinking, and employee engagement.

Requirements
- Background in financial services or banking is required.
Schedule
Training Period: Approximately 8 weeks.
Training Schedule: Monday‑Friday (5 days/week fully onsite), 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 5:00 PM (includes two 15‑minute breaks and a 30‑minute lunch).
Post‑Training Shifts: Multiple shifts available, such as:
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
