Fund Transfer Specialist

Responsibilities

• Input, verify, and release incoming and outgoing domestic and international payments of various currencies and book transfers per policies.
• Follow procedures to minimize loss while maintaining service quality.
• Perform funds approval function prior to completing payments.
• Monitor payment processing functions including repair, approval, messaging, NFS, fraud, risk, and investigations.
• Ensure compliance regulations are met.
• Handle previous‑day returned transactions.
• Conduct wire‑transfer investigations research as requested by customers and business units.
• Provide exceptional customer service across bank departments.
• Report system or operational problems to the First Vice President.
• Perform end‑of‑day system maintenance and balancing.
• Carry out disaster recovery testing, support projects and upgrades, and perform additional duties as assigned.
• Reports directly to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of funds transfer experience with strong knowledge of Fedwire, CHIPS, SWIFT, and FX payments.
• Ability to work under strict deadlines.
• Able to work effectively in a multi‑task, high‑volume environment.

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Adequate knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• eGifts experience is a plus.
• Spanish speaking is a plus.

Pay

The expected annual salary for this position is between $70,000 and $80,000 at the start of employment, with salary offers individualized based on skills and experience.

We are operating on a Hybrid schedule.
