Job Description

Global Fund Services (GFS) offers fund administration, compliance, legal administration, fund accounting, fulfillment, distribution and marketing, custody, securities lending, transfer agent and shareholder services and alternative investment product services. We provide the efficiencies necessary for fund sponsors to deliver economical competitive products while we protect their business interests and minimize risks.

Position Overview

A transfer agent within GFS acts as a liaison and provides service to over 200 mutual fund/alternative investment companies and their shareholders. We are seeking an individual with excellent multi-tasking abilities to provide a superior level of service to our growing group of high-profile clients and their shareholders. Candidates must have backgrounds in financial services/banking.

Responsibilities

  • Review subscription documents for completeness and accuracy and work with funds and intermediaries to resolve subscriptions not in good order.
  • Establish new accounts on record keeping platform.
  • Participate in client-related events including but not limited to capital calls, interval purchases, tender offers and distributions.
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to email inquiries both internally and with clients and their shareholders.
  • Actively ensure compliance with the Code of Ethics and all Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, policies and procedures.

Pay and Schedule

  • Full-time conversion expected.
  • Optional/available overtime.
  • Training period: 5 days per week, fully onsite (roughly 8 weeks).
  • Training hours: 8AM - 4:30PM or 5PM (two 15-minute breaks, 30-minute lunch).
  • After training, position will convert to hybrid schedule (3 days per week on-site).
  • Candidates must be available for multiple shifts.
