Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Aid in managing project activities to meet schedule, quality, and budget objectives
- Communicate project needs promptly to management, field team, and subcontractors
- Maintain project safety and enforce company safety policies
- Prepare for and participate in subcontractor meetings
- Monitor site conditions and ensure compliance with company environmental policy
- Plan and track project activity for areas assigned
- Interact with local building officials for inspections and approvals
- Inspect project daily to ensure progress, cleanliness, etc.
- Create and distribute punch lists and ensure timely completion of work
- Maintain jobsite and construction trailer in a neat and organized manner
- Participate in all required reporting (daily logs, weekly safety inspections, delivery sign-in sheets, RFI requests, change order requests, etc.)
- Operate with professionalism and ethics in all business dealings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in construction
- Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle
- Proficiency with MS Office and email
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Regular exposure to outside weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, and risk of electrical shock
