About the role
The role is a dynamic and results-driven sales professional for Lundbeck, a global biopharmaceutical company focused on brain health. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or related healthcare sales and possess strong clinical knowledge to promote psychiatry products.
Responsibilities
- Use digital tools and data to create opportunities, develop strategy, allocate resources, monitor progress, and adjust direction to maximize sales performance.
- Deliver clear and compelling messages to customers, probe customer needs, handle objections, and close calls with commitments to drive changes in behavior.
- Build and maintain productive relationships internally and externally, incorporating total office account management where applicable.
- Gain and validate key market trends, map account linkages, and apply comprehensive therapeutic knowledge to uncover and prioritize unique opportunities.
- Stay informed on reimbursement dynamics, anticipate and address payer access issues, and utilize Lundbeck resources.
- Apply knowledge of the pharmaceutical and regulatory environment, including adherence to Lundbeck policies and FDA regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- 2-5 years pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biologics, medical device sales or related healthcare sales experience.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic, tenacity, and outstanding communication skills.
- Adaptability, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
- Must live within 40 miles of territory boundaries.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing.
- Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and move items up to 25 lbs.
Preferred Skills
- Recent successful experience selling to general practitioners (GPs) and primary care centers.
- Experience promoting and detailing products specific to CNS/neuroscience.
- Previous experience working with alliance partners (co-promotions).

Pay and Schedule
The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $126,000, with a sales incentive target of $40,500. Benefits include a company car and a comprehensive benefits package.
