Duties and Responsibilities
- Direct all phases of the Human Resources function including recruitment, onboarding, performance & talent management, engagement and other related people initiatives or programs.
- Aid in managing Temporary Agencies supplying labor to the plant and hold the Temporary Agencies accountable to Pratt Industries Hiring Criteria.
- Manage new hire feedback and review process.
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies.
- Administer all employee benefits including medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD, FMLA, vacation, paid leaves.
- Investigate employee relations issues, including hotline reports, with focus on timely resolution.
- Maintain and administer any records or personnel files as required by state and federal laws.
- Maintain and analyze metrics related to absenteeism, retention, and other HR KPI’s.
- Assist with processing biweekly payroll.
- Balance multiple commitments in fast paced environment.
- Participate in daily/weekly meetings, acting as point of contact and HR Business Partner.
- Travel to locations as needed.
Requirements, Education, and Experience
- 5 years of experience as a HR generalist or HR Manager.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Computer literate (proficient in MS Word, MS Excel).
- BS degree in HR Management or related field preferred.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Preferred SPHR or PHR certification.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.

Technical Skills
- Computer literacy (MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Proficient knowledge and application of HR laws and regulations
Preferred Candidates
- Experience with ADP and other HRIS’s.
Physical Demands
- Employee is regularly required to walk and talk and hear, sit and stand.
- The noise level in the work environment can be, at times, loud.
