Multi-Site Clinical Team Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Affords assistance to the Practice Manager to ensure efficient patient flow and high quality staff performance.
• Assumes responsibility of the clinic in the Practice Manager’s absence, in conjunction with the DON.
• Leads the team on a daily basis, by providing a model of positive, compassionate care for our patients and support to our staff.
• Demonstrates exceptional customer service while interacting with providers, patients and coworkers.
• Ensures adequate staff coverage for absences and helps develop work assignments.
• Provides direct clinical support to the providers as needed.
• Trains, mentors and completes staff competency evaluations for both new and existing clinical staff.
• Affords assistance in the supervision of clinical staff and gives input for performance reviews and corrective action plans as needed.
• Affords assistance in coordination of inventory and ordering medical supplies, as required.
• Adheres to applicable regulatory guidelines and laws, including but not limited to HIPAA/HITECH, CLIA, HRSA, NCQA PCMH and OSHA.

Required Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current active Nursing license or Medical Assistant certification required.
• 5+ experience in patient care in an outpatient setting required.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Multilingual ability (especially Spanish or Marshallese) preferred.
