About the role

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP seeks to hire a midlevel associate to join their Chambers USA Band 1-ranked Investment Funds: Investor Representation team within their investment management practice.

Responsibilities

  • Represent institutional investors in connection with their investments in private funds, including private equity, private credit, real estate, and co-investment funds.
  • Negotiate purchase and sale agreements for secondary transactions and/or form private funds (helpful but not required).

Requirements

  • At least three to five years of in-house, government, and/or law firm experience in investor representation.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Excellent communication, deal management, and analytical skills.

Qualifications

  • Must be an active member of the bar in the jurisdiction of the Morgan Lewis office for which they are applying.

Skills

  • Experience in private fund investor representation.
  • Ability to negotiate purchase and sale agreements for secondary transactions.
  • Knowledge of private equity, private credit, real estate, and co-investment funds.

Pay

The base salary or hourly wage range for this position is $225,000 to $435,000.

Schedule

The position may be resident in any of Morgan Lewis's offices in Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, Orange County, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Washington, DC.
