About the role
We are seeking a midlevel/senior Asset Management and Investment Funds associate to join the Boston, New York, or Washington, DC office. The ideal candidate will have four to six years of experience. Candidates should have demonstrated expertise in registered funds, regulatory, or private funds spaces.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with experienced lawyers to provide active mentoring and opportunities to assume increasing levels of responsibility and client contact.
- Assist in the preparation and review of legal documents related to asset management and investment funds.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies for clients in the asset management and investment funds sector.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss legal matters and solutions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in registered funds, regulatory, or private funds spaces.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A commitment to providing the highest quality client service.
- Admitted to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Passionate about asset management and investment funds.
- Experience in drafting and reviewing legal documents related to asset management and investment funds.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
